this is painted with flat use of the brush

so much depends on the inner light

I feel here the sense of presence. Not aggressive, not defensive.. Not in your face, Not apologetic..Natural unadorrned authority.

sometimes it's all about shapes but somehow more comes through

an early use of palette knife together with briush

during lockdown worldwide we had to work on Zoom, at least I could imagine the pleasure of meeting

a pause brefore the start of the day

a figure study is one thing but create a conext and colour and spatal interest and hopefully it begins to make a painting

hopefully it's the face that catches your attention. She's not a blank, but an enigma, so much more than the body

with dignity expressing the character
